The 65 mm Fischer Easy skins are a great addition to your touring setup. The Fischer Easy skin system is pretty awesome in the world of Nordic touring and adds a whole new dimension to off-piste adventure skiing. When paired with a Fischer ski of the appropriate width, the skins can be attached for steep and technical climbs, and then removed for the descent. If you're looking for a bit of speed control on the way down, then by all means, leave them right where they are for a consistent little braking system. It's one of those happy accidents that happens that first time, and you're left wondering why you hadn't thought of that in the first place. The combination of adhesion and a click-in system makes it incredibly stable and predictable, as those are two good qualities to have in your backcountry ski gear. They've got a nice little carrying case to go with them, as most excursions begin in more mellow terrain. When it steepens up and gets deep, any traction you get from either wax or a scale is in danger of getting lost. When the terrain and snow conditions get too tricky, simply hook the skins in and get on with your ski. The best analogy is that they're like four-wheel drive low for your skis. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
