This 6” long grooming tool has a ½ “ triangular shaped, high quality stainless steel sharp blade at one end and a 1 1/8” pointed stainless steel hook shaped pick at the other end. The bladed end is useful for dead heading (removing) spent blooms, preparing cuttings for planting, or cleaning a “necky” violet to ready it for re-rooting. African violet growers will find the hooked end of this tool especially useful for removing unwanted side shoots or suckers.
Gardeners who work with tiny seedling will appreciate the handiness of the hooked end to tease apart delicate seedlings and replant them at thinning time. The hardwood handle is 4” long.
