Ferrari F430 is the replacement for the now aging Ferrari 360 Modena. The Modena was unquestionably very successful and the new F430 has a major challenge ahead of it in carrying on this legacy.
Technically speaking the F430 is powered by a new 4.3 liter V8 that develops 490 horsepower without the use of a supercharger or turbocharger. Weighing in at just under 3,200 pounds, the F430 can go from 0 to 60mph in about four seconds. A number of other state of the art technical advances to the suspension, power train and breaking system make the F430 one the best handling high performance cars in the world. However and not surprisingly this kind of style and performance doesn’t come cheap. Priced around 5,000 this new F430 is limited production, which is the tradition with Ferrari, and as such probably would be available all that long.
