This Flour is ground from our certified organic wheat fields using our stone mill. It is Flour that is milled from Hard Red Wheat which has good bread making qualities -14% protein. This flour is sifted so it is finer than whole wheat flour for those bakers who want a fine , smooth bread. Nothing has been added so you get the full flavor of the Iowa grown organic wheat. This Wheat Flour is great for baking bread or added other favorite dishes. The Flour is sold in a 4 pound bag. This is a whole grain flour. It contains all parts of the wheat (germ, endosperm, bran). It is sifted for consistency. It is best to store this flour in a cool, dry place to insure quality until the best buy date. If you store it in a refrigerator or freezer, it may extend (not guaranteed) its quality past the best buy date.
