    Description

    Bamboo Fiber
NET WT 12 oz (375g) | High Fiber, Tasteless Flour, Gluten-Free, Keto, Paleo, 100% Bamboo, ideal as a flour substitute.
Bamboo fiber is one of the greatest ingredients in low carbohydrate cooking. I eat low carbohydrates because I followed a ketogenic diet and it helped me to overcome my diabetes. Bamboo fiber adds a lot of fiber and improves the texture of foods without adding extra calories or carbohydrates. There is no noticeable change in flavor or color. It is believed to be good at reducing cholesterol and it helps to maintain a normal blood ressure rate. It is also gluten free. There are many healthy benefits. I love the changes to my recipes more than anything. Some people add a small amount to their favorite recipes to modify the texture and make them more enjoyable. Low carbohydrate flour substitutes have always been hard to bake with. This cannot be used alone in most instances, but it makes a great addition to mixes. This is one of the great ingredients included in some ketogenic baking mixes. It is a good alternative to all purpose flour for those of us who cannot tolerate the high carbohydrates. While this is not a substitute for any regular wheat flour, it is a great addition to many low carbohydrate recipes

Best 6 reasons to use bamboo fiber:
It all starts with choice, our bamboo flour is gluten-free and a great alternative for regular flour. Use it in baked goods or as a breading for chicken or fish or even in place of breadcrumbs for super moist meatballs.
As a small bakery, we enjoy using bamboo flour in our baked goods. We are excited to share how this is an changing how we bake for low carb, keto cuisine, as an addition to cake or bread dough or to thicken sauces.
Bamboo sprouts are the largest and tallest edible shoots that came from the grass family of plants. They are the freshly erupting edible culms of a bamboo plant.
    A gluten-free alternative:
Bamboo flour is particularly interesting to people who maintain a gluten-free or low-carb diet, including those on paleo or keto diets. Unlike oat fiber, bamboo does belong to the grass family. However, bamboo flour comes from the sprouts, and not the grains (seeds) themselves.
Usually, gluten-free flour is produced from gluten-free grains, like those mentioned above. Beans, coconut and almonds can also provide a source of non-allergenic flour. Itโ€™s rather surprising to see that a woody plant like bamboo can make flour, too. But the fresh shoots of bamboo are quite tender, and not woody like the mature culms.
    Baking with bamboo fiber flour:
โ€œWhat could I possibly make from bamboo fiber flour?โ€ you might wonder. In fact, you can make just about anything you would with ordinary, allergenic flour.
Bamboo fiber flour is popular in Europe, especially Germany as a flour alternative. Some benefits include: virtually carbohydrate-free, naturally gluten-free, vegan, and extremely high in fiber. From this, bamboo fiber flour is a fine powder obtained from young, tender bamboo shoots. Itโ€™s one of the most promising highest dietary fiber source with functional benefits. As an insoluble fiber, it can be added to gluten free baking to improve texture and stability.
In addition, the presence of high dietary fiber helps in dealing with gut issues as well.
Bamboo fiber is the next big thing:
    * Bamboo fiber flour is made from 100% bamboo.
    * Ideal for keto and low-carb cuisine. As an addition to cake or bread dough and to thicken sauces.
    * Premium quality. Please note, due to harvesting, there might be slight color variation with each sow. As our bamboo is harvested in the the spring, it is then dried and finely milled. Bamboo fiber flour can be used in:
