TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
MULTI-PARAMETER MODULE Number of Inputs: 32 (multiplexed) Number of Parallel “Simultaneous” Inputs: 2 Total Dynamic Range: 140 dB (time domain) Measurement S/N Ratio: 96 dB Cross Talk: 80 dB at 10 kHz with 2-pole slope (68 dB at 20 kHz) Voltage Range: 20 mVpp to 40 Vpp (centered around zero) Current Range: 4-20 mA. Converted to 2–10 Volt by means of a 500 Ohm resistor. Input Frequency Range: DC to 40 kHz This range to be supported by two different analog paths: Dynamic: 0.5 Hz to 40 kHz Static: DC to 1 Hz (BOV/gap) Low Frequency Cut Off Filter: Fixed ranges from 0 to 70 Hz MUX Input Isolation: Channel to channel isolation (any terminal) better then 140 dB over full frequency range. Input Protection: 440 volt Constant Current Provision: On/Off, 4 mA at 24 V shall be provided to the acceleration sensor when On. A single -24 Vdc shall be provided for displacement probes. Sensor Validation Measurement: Parallel BOV or gap measurement (resolution 1:1000) is sufficient.
TACHOMETER MODULE Number of Inputs: 8 (multiplexed) Power Provision For External Tacho Device: A single +12 Vdc at 500 mA for all 8 tachos Visual Indicators: LED for each tacho blinking at tacho repetition frequency. Frequency Range: 10–60,000 RPM ±1% (as actually seen on the tacho input). Voltage Range: 2 Vpp to 30 Vpp Duty Cycle: Minimum of 5% Trigger Slope: User selectable positive or negative. Trigger Level: Automatic Phase Accuracy Tacho to Signal: Better then 2 degrees.
SIZE Dimensions: 23.6” (600 mm) wide x 23.6” (600 mm) high x 8.4” (210 mm) deep in stainless steel NEMA 4X weatherproof enclosure Weight: Approximately 70 lbs. (32 kg)
ENVIRONMENTAL Operating Temperature: 0 to +130ºF (-20 to +55ºC) Humidity: To 95% relative humidity condensing.
NETWORK • 10-BaseT Ethernet supports up to 256 Multilog CMU devices. • RS-485 supports up to 63 Multilog CMU devices. • RS-485 networks support up to 63 CMMA 320 LMUs and/or Multilog CMU devices.
HOST SOFTWARE – MACHINE ANALYST • Run on either Windows NT or Windows 2000. • Can be installed on a single workstation or installed in client/server configuration for shared access. • Uses an Oracle database for maximum performance and reliability • Machine Analyst also supports SKF Microlog and MARLIN SKF Condition Monitoring products. Power Provision For External Tacho Device: A single +12 Vdc at 500 mA for all 8 tachos Visual Indicators: LED for each tacho blinking at tacho repetition frequency. Frequency Range: 10–60,000 RPM ±1% (as actually seen on the tacho input). Voltage Range: 2 Vpp to 30 Vpp Duty Cycle: Minimum of 5% Trigger Slope: User selectable positive or negative. Trigger Level: Automatic Phase Accuracy Tacho to Signal: Better then 2 degrees.
DIGITAL INPUTS Number of Inputs: 8/16 Voltage Range: TTL compatible 0 to 5 Volt. Voltages below 0.8 V are regarded a “zero”, voltages higher then 2.5 V are regarded a “one”. Sample Rate: Determined by POINT sequence. Visual Indicators: LED for each input which is lit when “high”.
AMPLITUDE DEVIATION Acceleration/Velocity/Displacement: < ± 5% BOV: < ± 5% on 20 VDC scale Gap: < ± 0.1% of full-scale (fs = 20 V) Temperature: < ± 1% DEG C of full scale value Process Parameter: < ± 1% of full scale value (fs = 10 V)
