Vintage Chalkware Bride & Groom Wedding Cake Topper 1944

Description

I believe this was the wedding cake topper to my parent’s wedding cake from 1944. Made of painted chalkware featuring a gleaming bodice and a lace attached gown for the bride. This pair makes a handsome couple and have been together for 80 years! There is minor wear to the pair’s painted hair, the bride’s veil is mostly missing, and the groom’s shoes are chipped, which doesn’t show due to the bridge’s sweeping gown. Vintage and kitschy.
