For sale is a vintage Love Birds in a Gilded Cage Wedding Cake Topper
This is a sweet and unusual Cake Topper. It features two gold colored love birds on their perch (the perch swings back and forth) in a gilded bird cage. It is made of wire and composition materials. It measures approx. 4 1/2 inches inches tall. I would date it from 1930's - 1940's.
This Wedding Cake topper is in wonderful vintage condition. It shows light wear and uneven coverage of the gold coloring in places. The ribbon has part of the wire exposed on one end and a small tear. Please also refer to the pictures in this auction as they are part of the description.
